Aleid Warmelink

I was born and bred in Rotterdam, and received my masters in Psychology at the University of Amsterdam. Travel made me curious to broaden my studies with courses in Philosophy and various World religions. As a psychologist I wanted to learn more about important thinkers and teachers in different cultures and times. I'm an inquisitive person, and fascinated by the human mind, and heart and soul. During my studies I started to explore yoga, and it has remained important for me ever since, both personally and professionally.

After I graduated I worked in psychiatry for several years, first with young people, and then with a group for people with psychotic disorders. In 2004 I started my own psychology practice in Amsterdam, "Personal Radiance", which became very successful.

Since then I have concentrated completely on my own blend of therapy, coaching, yoga and meditation. I'm a qualified yoga instructor, and I put the insights which this gives me to good use in my work as a psychologist. My legs firm in evidence based psychology, my heart in a wider perspective and approach to healing.

In April 2008 my husband and I moved to Majorca to create more opportunity for being in nature, study and contemplation, creative inspiration and meditation. I now see that has brought me and my work to more depth.
I continue my practice in Majorca.
